About the role
Join our dynamic team as an HR Business Partner on a 13-month contract. In this role you will support the execution of our HR strategy, implementing HR initiatives, tools, and processes within Operations. You’ll partner with client group leaders to deliver HR solutions aligned with department/function performance goals and business strategy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the execution of the Access Solutions Manufacturing Transfer commitments from an HR perspective. Collaborate with HR partners in Costa Rica and US to ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Introduce, lead and influence change management initiatives within Operations in order to enhance overall performance and engagement.
- Partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence to provide HR guidance/support to client group(s) in the following areas: competency development, succession planning, talent management, employment law compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, change management and process improvement.
- Coach and consult with management on issues affecting morale, performance, development and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps.
- Consult with managers to ensure the consistent application of and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Lead HR processes with a continuous improvement mindset including but not limited to: Compensation Management System, midyear promotion process, talent review and succession planning and talent calibration.
- Advise management on compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent, ensuring equity and competitiveness in compensation packages.
- Collaborate with H&S and advise on disability management/leave of absence, including accommodations, return to work programs, and fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
- Maintain an on-site presence at least 3 days per week, in alignment with the hybrid work model.
- Participate in additional projects or duties as required.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience in a business partnering role, with relevant qualifications
- A business and customer focused HR professional with experience in partnering with leaders across the business and geographies in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
- Proven generalist/business partner with the ability to lead HR activities across all areas and proven ability to influence change
- Experience working in a dynamic, changing environment within a HR team
- Working knowledge of Employment Standards, Human Rights Code, and Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Strong organization and time management skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Post Graduate Human Resources Certificate is an asset
- CHRP designation or working towards designation is an asset

Maximum Salary: $113,700
The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
Compensation for hourly, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
Compensation for salaried, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
Compensation for sales roles is governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).
