About the role:
We are seeking an IT Manager to play a key role in our Digital Commerce program, with focus on delivering global solutions for our business capabilities and applications using the SAP Commerce Cloud platform. This highly visible and strategic role will support the growth of this domain and help shape the strategic direction in line with our roadmap.
This role is responsible for the technical strategy, delivery, execution, governance, and operations of our SAP Commerce platform. This role will need strong communication skills to translate technical strategy into a format non-technical audiences can understand and support. In addition, this role will manage the IT Digital Commerce technical team, including developers, technical leads, and architects, and manage vendor relationships, contracting, and budgeting processes.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is innovative, technically savvy, and a strategic thinker. You should have a strong understanding of Commerce, excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, a proven track record of success, and a desire to win. You will need to collaborate across multiple business divisional and regional partners, product teams, architecture and cross functional teams to meet business needs and deliver value.
Your responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop high-performing product teams. Responsible for staffing and developing a team of technical talent across various levels. Devote a significant portion of time to managerial, leadership and employee development responsibilities.
- Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace. Enable all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
- Drive the IT technology vision for Digital Commerce. Establish and maintain an IT technology strategy, software roadmap, and development principles for our Digital Commerce platforms, aligned to business priorities and value goals.
- Communicate effectively with IT and business leaders. Responsible for providing regular updates to executives regarding the strategic IT vision and delivery goals. Ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations.
- Manage IT demand and governance. Manage platform demand, prioritization and governance. Work collaboratively, effectively, and efficiently with stakeholders to ensure alignment and prioritization of goals and resources across multiple stakeholders, project priorities, and organizational initiatives.
- Deliver large, complex projects. Support delivery of multiple large, complex, cross-functional divisional and global projects and product releases. Manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items. Ensure the proper use of collaborative, agile processes and remove impediments for the product team.
- Maintain operational excellence & quality compliance. Responsible for ongoing support and delivery of feature enhancements. Help the product team make process improvements and evolve devops practices. Develop and manage budgets, schedules and performance standards. Ensure deliverables meet or exceed service-level expectations for quality, timeliness, performance and budget. Maintain validated systems in accordance with internal Software Validation procedures. Ensure data quality, overall end-to-end process, and positive streamlined user experience.
- Innovate continuously. Maintain high level of awareness and understanding of existing and emerging Digital Commerce technologies. Embrace new advancements in technology to remain at the forefront of the industry.
- Oversee vendor relationships. Manage relationships with software vendors, and influence product roadmaps. Manage relationships with software implementation and staffing vendors. Negotiate and execute contracts with vendors.

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in IT
- Strong technical people management experience leading global teams
- Mentors team members in technology, architecture, and delivery of solutions
- Experience with eCommerce
- Proven ability to deliver IT solutions in a regulated environment, with experience leading large-scale initiatives
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies. Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery practices
- Proven experience developing and maintaining a strong relationship with IT partners, and software vendors
- Advance English Level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Experience in life science or other regulated industry
- Experience within the SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) ecosystem
- Understanding of SOX, GDPR and other Management Controls
