About the job:

Boston Scientific develops, manufactures and distributes medical devices worldwide. We are looking for a Field Service Engineer that will provide onsite technical support to our customers in Southern Belgium, performing service activities such as the installation, maintenance, modification, recalibration and repair of BSC Capital Equipment (Electrophysiology and Interventional Cardiology). Able to start as soon as possible and ideally based in Brussels.

Area of responsibility:

• Repair, maintenance and installation of capital equipment in the clinical environment
• Implementation of technical troubleshooting for all areas of the Capital Equipment product area, focus on Electrophysiology
• Contact person for all technical questions
• Working with circuit diagrams and flow diagrams
• On-site briefing of customers
• Expansion and maintenance of customer relationships
• Exchange of information with all relevant internal and external stakeholders, in particular sales and technical services

Requirements:

• Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, medical technology or similar or a successfully completed, relevant apprenticeship
• Professional experience as a field service engineer desired, ideally in the field of medical technology
• Strong customer orientation
• High level of travel and flexibility
• Reliability and conscientiousness
• Good MS Office user skills
• Proficient in English, Flemish, French; basic German as a nice-to-have
• A strong willingness to travel within country and Europe
