About the role
Collaborates with supply chain leaders and procurement teams to plan and maintain inventory levels (owns site-wide supply chain initiatives). Drives execution of new supply chain programs, including vendor management, procurement strategies, and logistics optimization. Monitors key performance indicators and coordinates cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain effectiveness. Supports execution of supply chain initiatives within Belo Horizonte’s Manufacturing site.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for conducting thorough data analysis to address complex problems using advanced analytical tools. Extracts broad data sets, crafts visual stories, and develops reports/dashboards to communicate clear results and recommendations. Provides guidance to the GSC Planning team on the implementation of new tools.
- Manages inventory levels by balancing inventory with demand and recommending inputs to inventory targets. Leads process improvements to reduce inventory charges and create VIPs. Communicates supply updates to key stakeholders and facilitates productive discussions.
- Oversees the forecast setting process to meet global demand for complex supply chains and business-critical products. Removes barriers to forecast accuracy and drives improvements to enhance business results.
- Provides support for successful demand planning, net requirements, and supply management steps. Facilitates cross-functional meetings, escalates issues to Executive Review, and develops detailed SI&OP plans. Actively works on enhancing forecast accuracy and improving inventory management while incorporating risk management.
- Participates in defining objectives for new product launches and identifying opportunities for EOL (End-of-Life). Recommends changes to inventory strategy and escalates issues through the SI&OP process. Coaches others on best practices for product launch and discontinuation.
- Ensures SOP compliance and facilitates review when necessary. Stays current on training for SOPs and Work Instructions regarding ERP and planning system master data. Maintains knowledge of master data fields managed in other functions.
- Develops and documents project plans, oversees execution of required tasks, and manages budgeting and cost control. Anticipates and removes barriers to successful completion and incorporates advanced risk management. Leads project teams and escalates issues to management.
