About the role:

 

The Senior Manager of Diagnostics, Program Management is an exciting role responsible for leading high growth diagnostic programs inclusive of the LUX insertable cardiac monitor pipeline and associated technologies.  This leader will demonstrate best practices in project management and drive innovative R&D programs through the full life cycle of product development.  This role coordinates with functional and cross functional contributors and stakeholders and interfaces with functional and franchise leadership teams on portfolio strategy.  The role ensures successful delivery of programs as well as continuous improvement in project management practices.   This role will report into the PMO organization within CRMDx R&D.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Manages the full project lifecycle, including initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing processes, while building team ownership and commitment.
  • Prepares comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets utilizing tools like Microsoft Project.
  • Develops and administers budgets, schedules and performance standards, tracking accountability of team to objectives.
  • Directs project execution, assigns tasks, tracks progress, identifies risks, and develops contingency plans, ensuring project quality.
  • Leads cross-functional development teams, providing performance feedback and influencing team dynamics.
  • Communicates project status through standard reports and update meetings with departmental and customer stakeholders.
  • Resolves project issues collaboratively with team members and stakeholders ensuring smooth project progression.
  • Partners with key functions to deliver a high-quality commercialization process.
  • Acts as a liaison between the team and project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and leading business reviews and project documentation.
  • Anticipates business and external developments to drive BSC growth and recommends product, process, or service improvements.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and fosters a diverse workplace.

 

Required qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 plus years of professional experience in program management, engineering or other relevant discipline
  • Experienced in the technology and/or product development process
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to support occasional travel

 

 

Preferred qualifications and competencies:

  • Experience in a regulated medical device development environment
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Demonstrated ability to create a positive working culture within teams
  • Proven ability to work effectively across functional teams in a matrixed environment
  • Experience leading complex cross functional programs
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority

Maximum Salary: $232000 

 

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements.
